Correspondence to Franz Werfel, 1940.

Bound manuscript of scores for 2 songs composed by Newlin, "Der Wanderer" and "Allelujah," based on poems by Franz Werfel and personally dedicated to him on the occasion of his fiftieth birthday. Newlin writes in the inscription that the compositions were at the request of Krakowski and written under the guidance and inspiration of Schoenberg.
